THE WORK, IN DETAIL

AutoCAD design. 3D scanning. Custom metalwork.

Blake creates the required drawings in AutoCAD 2027. Bring an idea, sketch or existing drawing, and we can work through dimensions, mounting points and the space the finished piece needs to fit. Handheld 3D scanning captures existing parts for modifications and fabrication.

Custom automotive work includes pre-runner tube components, bumpers, crash bars, roll cages, rock sliders and drift bash bars, plus chassis and frame work including dragster front and rear halves. We welcome enquiries for carefully fitted, detailed automotive fabrication. Share the intended use and any competition or project specifications before the design is agreed.

CNC plasma cutting is now available for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum: maximum cut size 24 by 46 inches, with a maximum cut thickness of 1 inch. Send your material, thickness, drawing and quantity to confirm the job.

Carbon steel MIG (GMAW) fabrication includes brackets, mounts, frameworks and bent 1.75-inch DOM tubing products. The maximum material thickness for our MIG process is 3/8 inch. Tell us the quantity, dimensions and any existing parts the new work needs to join.

Stainless TIG (GTAW) work includes exhaust and intake systems, custom assemblies, and sanitary food-grade repairs and fabrication. Aluminum TIG work includes catch cans, fuel tanks, intercooler pipework, cold-air intakes and trailer repairs. Both stainless and aluminum TIG services are carried out in the shop.

The shop is near Ancaster and is not open for walk-in visits. Call or email first with the project details, photos or drawings. We will confirm the design and fabrication scope, quote, timing and any drop-off arrangements before work begins.

Do you create CAD drawings or only work from supplied files?

Blake creates drawings in AutoCAD 2027 as part of the design and fabrication work. You can start with an idea, a sketch, photos or existing drawings.

Can you scan an existing part?

Yes. Handheld 3D scanning is available to capture existing parts for modification and fabrication. Tell us what the part does, how it needs to change and which dimensions or connections matter.

Do you make custom automotive parts?

Yes. Examples include tube bumpers, roll cages, rock sliders, drift bash bars, chassis and frame work, stainless exhausts and aluminum intake components. Send the vehicle details, intended use and any specifications so the requirements can be agreed before fabrication.

Can I bring a project to the shop?

Drop-offs at the shop near Ancaster are by arrangement only. The shop is not open for walk-in visits. Contact us first with details, photographs or drawings.

Can I order CNC plasma-cut parts?
